The Packaging Cluster, a non-profit organization that represents and helps companies in the packaging and packaging sector to improve their competitiveness. Cluster has celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. An event that was celebrated this December with an act at the Hotel Gallery in Barcelona. It recognizes the involvement and good practices of companies in the sector in terms of shared value, innovation and strategic change.
Global Fruselva was one of the companies distinguished by the Packaging Cluster for our clear commitment to innovation in products, packaging, sustainability and production processes. It was also highlighted that we were one of the twenty founding companies of the cluster 10 years ago when it began its journey. Currently, the entity is made up of more than 100 active members between companies, knowledge centers and entities.
Innovation and sustainability
The CEO of the company, Javi Hernández, was in charge of collecting the diploma delivered by the director and president of Hispack, Xavier Pascual and Jordi Bernabeu. This distinction coincides with a special end of 2022 for us in terms of recognition. Also good results resulting from the work carried out in the field of innovation and sustainability. In the first place, with our selection among the 50 most important food innovations in Chile within the Transforma Alimentos strategic program promoted by Corfo and supported by the country’s Ministry of Agriculture. And then, by obtaining the Plant Based certificate, which differentiates our products by giving them a quality seal on their origin and underlines our commitment to the Environment and the territory.
From Fruselva we want to congratulate the Packaging Cluster for its tenth anniversary and for organizing the event. We also want to encourage those responsible to continue working in the same direction to face future challenges in the field of innovation, digital transformation and sustainability in the sector.
During the event, the Packaging Cluster also presented its new corporate image more in line with its objectives of innovation and proximity.
