Fruselva together with our sister companies from Masergrup celebrated the group’s 25th anniversary last Friday with the inauguration of the new corporate headquarters. An event where we review the past, present and future of our company and the entire group in front of more than 300 guests, including authorities, colleagues, directors and those responsible for the municipal and regional business fabric, and friends.
25th anniversary
The event began with the inauguration of the headquarters with the traditional ribbon cutting and then a tour of the facilities.
The new building is a construction project that is firmly committed to digital transformation, sustainability and the environment. With the granting of the LEED Gold seal, the headquarters became the third building in the province of Tarragona to obtain this certificate. It has also obtained the REFET certificate and an A+ energy certification.
Next, we held a commemorative gala with the presence of the Minister of Business and Employment of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Roger Torrent; the president of the Diputació de Tarragona, Noemí Llauradó; the mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita and the president of F.C. Barcelona, Joan Laporta.
The gala reviewed the history of the holding company and that of its main companies and closed after the congratulations and speeches of the institutional representatives with the closing speech by the founder and president of Masergrup, Xavier Martínez i Serra.
The future of the group and Fruselva
The president of Masergrup pointed out that this anniversary represents a turning point for the global internationalization of its companies. He highlighted that the company’s largest turnover is in Fruselva, a leading company in the food sector thanks to the packaging of baby food products in pouch format.
With the group’s Strategic Plan for the coming years, Fruselva aims to further strengthen its presence in the American market and consolidate its productive and commercial expansion in the European market.
