At Fruselva, we proudly reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by renewing our membership in the UN Global Compact. Since we joined this initiative in 2021, we have been deeply committed to integrating the compact’s ten universal principles into all our operations, covering human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption.
This renewed commitment reinforces our determination to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies that promote a dignified, equitable and planet-friendly work environment, as we always say, “Growing up together” for a better future.
Since joining the Global Compact, we have launched several key initiatives to strengthen our corporate social responsibility and reduce our ecological footprint. We have implemented sustainable technologies in our production processes, which has allowed us to minimize waste and significantly reduce our carbon emissions. The commitment to clean energy, generated by the various photovoltaic installations that we have in our different production plants and headquarters, is one of the actions that are part of a global strategy that not only seeks operational efficiency, but also the well-being of the environment in which we operate.
We have also made progress in the adoption of inclusive and equitable policies to ensure that all our employees work in a fair and respectful environment. This renewal of our commitment to the Global Compact underlines our responsibility to face current global challenges in a proactive and conscious manner.
Our goal is to continue contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), convinced that our actions can make a difference in building a more sustainable future. With this renewed commitment, we reaffirm our willingness to continue leading by example and promoting a business model that benefits both society and the environment.
