Global Fruselva acquires the production assets of the Colombian FLP Global SAS, enlarging it’s presence in the American market.

On June 30th, of 2021, Global Fruselva, business leader in the co-manufacturing of baby food products in the Latin American market, acquired the production assets of pouch packaging and infant food from FLP Global SAS in Chinchiná (Colombia) to continue with its development in the Americas.This acquisition will allow Fruselva’s productive capacity to expand in the American continent with a new pouch packaging line and a flexible fruit processing and packaging line, as well as expanding its professional team with more than 30 people in the country.

With this investment, Fruselva seeks to consolidate its leadership in Colombia, where it currently provides its services to important brands and supermarket chains. With the inauguration of this new factory situated at the economic axis of the Andean country, the company takes one more step towards its consolidation strategy as the specialist partner in baby food, offering global services, with products that are accessible and affordable to the consumer.

FLP is a fruit and vegetable business group dedicated to the production and commercialization of fresh, exotic, and processed fruit, especially fruits like mango and avocado.
