On November 20, Fruselva Global took part in the conference “Sustainability as a Driver of Competitiveness in the Agri-Food Industry”, a sector event organized by the Hub Foodtech & Nutrition and promoted by REDESSA and the Reus City Council, within the SER Agro cycle. The event brought together companies, experts, and key organizations from the agri-food ecosystem to discuss the sector’s current challenges and opportunities in sustainability, innovation, and competitiveness.
During the conference, Fruselva participated in the roundtable on circular economy, where it shared its vision and experience alongside other companies and sector stakeholders. This dialogue space highlighted the importance of integrating innovation and sustainability into food production models, as well as the opportunities that new circular approaches offer to improve resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and create value across the entire value chain.
The event also addressed the main trends transforming the agri-food industry, from the transition toward more sustainable models to the integration of ESG criteria and new technologies. Presentations from academic institutions, consultancies, and industry companies provided a global perspective on how sustainability is becoming a key factor in business competitiveness.
For Fruselva, participation in forums like this reinforces its commitment to responsible innovation, circular economy, and the sustainable development of the food sector. The company continues to promote solutions that integrate quality, efficiency, and respect for the environment, actively contributing to the transition toward a more sustainable food system.
Fruselva thanks the Hub Foodtech & Nutrition, REDESSA, and all collaborating organizations for creating spaces that foster shared knowledge, business cooperation, and the future of the agri-food sector.
