At Fruselva, a company part of the business holding MaserGrup and specialized in food solutions for infant nutrition, we have been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in our very first sustainability assessment.
This recognition represents an important milestone for our company, as it places us in the 89th percentile globally, ranking among the top 15% of companies evaluated in ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria according to this international standard, widely used by major corporations to assess sustainability across their supply chains.
The EcoVadis assessment provides a rigorous evaluation of key areas such as environmental impact, labor practices, business ethics, and sustainable procurement policies, based on verified evidence. In this context, the result is especially significant, as it comes from Fruselva’s first participation in the evaluation process.
For us, this achievement is not a final destination, but rather a confirmation of the path we have been following in recent years. At Fruselva, we have developed a clear strategy focused on integrating ESG criteria throughout our entire value chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to the final distribution of products, with the aim of generating a positive and responsible impact at every stage of the process.
This commitment is also reflected in our alignment with leading international sustainability frameworks. The company holds B Corp certification, is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, and aligns its activity with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), embedding these principles into decision-making and operational development.
The EcoVadis Silver Medal further strengthens our positioning within the food industry as a company committed to sustainability, transparency, and continuous improvement. At the same time, it drives us to continue advancing toward an increasingly responsible business model aligned with today’s global challenges.
At Fruselva, we would like to thank all the teams whose work made this recognition possible, and we reaffirm our commitment to continuing to evolve toward a more sustainable, ethical food industry focused on people’s well-being.
