At Fruselva, we were invited to participate in a high-level meeting that brought together representatives from the scientific, academic, and industrial sectors in the Maule Region of Chile. This strategic forum aimed to strengthen collaboration between these three key areas to drive innovation and sustainable development in the territory.
The event, led by the Chilean Minister of Science and the Presidential Delegate for the Maule Region, highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration and joint work between universities, research centers, and companies to address future challenges with an integrated and transformative approach.
At Fruselva, we consider these types of forums essential to continue advancing our purpose of contributing to the development of innovative, sustainable, and high value-added food solutions. Our participation reinforces our commitment to the Maule Region, where we carry out a significant part of our industrial and production activities.
The company was represented by Xavier Martínez, President of MaserGrup and Fruselva, Fernando Larios, General Manager, and Gabriel Pulgar, R&D Director in Chile, who actively took part in the working sessions and dialogue spaces with authorities, researchers, and representatives of the regional innovation ecosystem.
For Fruselva, innovation is not only a strategic pillar but a core element of how we understand the food industry. We firmly believe in the need to connect scientific knowledge with industrial reality in order to develop solutions that respond to today’s societal needs, particularly in areas as relevant as child nutrition and health.
The Maule Region has established itself as a leading agro-industrial hub in Chile, with an increasingly strong ecosystem in science, technology, and innovation. In this context, our company reaffirms its commitment to continuing to actively contribute to the region’s growth by promoting projects that generate positive economic, social, and environmental impact.
This meeting represents another step forward in consolidating strategic alliances that enable progress toward a more collaborative, sustainable, and innovative development model, where science, industry, and academia work in alignment to build the future.
At Fruselva, we will continue to support this collaborative model, convinced that shared innovation is the key to transforming the industry and generating real value for people and the communities where we operate.
